≠Oma Daqm

≠Oma started tracking from a young age . His father was an accomplished bow hunter but as his eye sight deteriorated when ≠Oma was around six, he would call on his young son to help trail a wounded antelope he had shot. So over the years   ≠Oma became an excellent tracker in his own right, trailing duikers and steenboks and being his father’s eyes on the trail . He is the youngest of the Master Trackers and his village of //Xa/Oba has been one of the only villages in the Nyae Nyae to ever have visitors, so he speaks a little English and more than most of his community. He is a very skilled bowhunter who is a key part of the Kalahari Master Tracker Project and his playful humour and banter infuse our trip with a lot of fun.
