Robin Bowman leads the Tracking The Kalahari Expeditions alongside a skilled and supportive team of nature educators, wilderness guides and tracking experts including Marcus Reynerson, Sam Kouzarides, Merilee Bradford and Sandy Reed, all of who will travel to the Kalahari in 2026.

Robin Bowman
Tracker, deep ecologist and bird language expert, Robin has over 25 years experience as a nature connection educator and facilitator. Robin has led groups to the Kalahari since 2016. Known for his infectious passion for nature and playful humour, Robin has created and leads a variety of wilderness skills and land projects in the UK.

Marcus Reynerson
Marcus is a naturalist, educator, facilitator, photographer and filmmaker. He was Program Manager for the environmental leadership program at the Wilderness Awareness School in Duvall, WA. He is currently an evaluator with CyberTracker Conservation of North America.

Merilee Bradford
Born and raised in the wild beauty of the Pacific Northwest of the U.S., Merilee’s childhood was shaped by the Puget Sound and deep forests. This sparked an early dream of building her own cabin and living off the land, fueling a lifelong passion for making everything from clothing, bone art and pottery to preserved wild foods.

Sandy Reed
Sandy has spent her life teaching, both outdoors and inside the classroom. She is a National Geographic Grosvenor Teacher Fellow and traveled to Antarctica as a Nat Geo Teacher Explorer in 2024. She has also earned several environmental teaching awards and is a certified tracker in South Africa, Namibia and the United States.

Sam Kouzarides
With a background in nature conservation and a lifelong love of wild places and the skills needed to navigate them, Sam has been leading groups of people of all ages into the wild places of England and abroad for over 10 years. As well as a deep fascination in the tracking and wildlife elements of the expedition, Sam is passionate about the cultural and intergenerational aspect of the experience.

Louis Liebenberg
Though not traveling to the Kalahari in 2026, Louis remains the lead visionary behind the Kalahari Master Tracker Project, which has been at the center of CyberTracker since its inception. The project continues to serve as a venue to find remaining masters and cultivate new ones in the greater Kalahari region and support them through generating a sustainable ongoing economy and gainful employment not just for the trackers, but their families and community at large.
